Kaleb Frazier Charges to Victory In The Dirt Midget Series: A Night of Speed, Setup, and Gratitude

Race Recap: Getting to Victory Lane

Midway through the race the field shuffled and once I got out front, we pretty much set sail. The car felt strong and we were able to pull away. When everything clicks like that, it’s a special feeling — you can sense it in every lap.

What Changed: New Team, New Momentum

I recently joined a new team, and that fresh energy made a big difference. We brought a setup that worked perfectly for the night and the car was responsive. I don’t have a magic formula to share — just a lot of hard work, good people, and equipment that let me push when it mattered.

“I just joined a new team recently. … I would like to thank the helpers that made them, and I’d like to thank my whole family.”

Setup and Equipment

The right setup turned a good car into a great one. Small changes in suspension, tire choice, and balance added confidence. When a car is “on rails,” you can drive with conviction instead of babysitting the setup corner after corner.

  • Consistency: A predictable car lets you focus on strategy and lap execution.
  • Trust in the team: Knowing your crew has dialed things in removes doubt mid-race.
  • Execution: When the car responds, you can attack lines and hold momentum.

Track Feel: Familiar But Unique

I usually run this track a lot, so I had a baseline feeling for how it behaves. Still, every night is different — the grip, the rubber in the grooves, temperature — and this one required adjustments. We experimented early, found a sweet spot, and stuck with it.

Gratitude Beyond the Checkered Flag

This win wasn’t just mine. It belongs to the team, the people who built and prepped the car, and the family who supports me every weekend. I want to give a special shout-out to the helpers behind the scenes and to my family for always being there.

On a personal note, this one is emotional — my grandpa passed away recently. Dedicating this night to him made the victory feel even more meaningful.
